Hakan Ilhan Of Men's Soccer Named Spartan Top Performer

GREENSBORO, N.C. – UNCG men’s soccer senior forward Hakan Ilhan (Stuttgart, Germany/Univ. of Stuttgart) has been named this week’s Spartan Top Performer. The Spartan Top Performer will be chosen weekly from all sports in season and will run throughout the 2012-13 season announced
Ilhan led the Spartans to a 5-0 victory over UNC Asheville
Sunday afternoon as he scored two goals, marking the sixth
multiple-goal game of his career. He found the back of the net in
the 25th and 56th minute of action in the
Spartans’ first victory of the season.
Ilhan was also named the College Sports Madness Southern Conference Player of the Week for his efforts against UNC Asheville. He has scored 24 career goals heading into tonight’s contest at Longwood, which ranks 25th all-time in UNCG scoring history.
