UNCG Athletics introduces Spartan Rookies program

GREENSBORO, N.C.—Now even the youngest UNCG fans can be part
of the fun!
UNCG introduces the Spartan Rookies Club as an opportunity for kids
12 and under to experience Spartan Athletics in a kid-friendly way.
For a $15 membership fee, all club members will receive a free
Spartan Rookies t-shirt, a 10 percent discount on summer camp
registration, and free popcorn from the concession stand when you
wear the t-shirt to an athletic event (excluding men’s
basketball).
Spartan Rookies members will have access to several special events
and promotions throughout the 2011-12 athletic year.
Fans will have their first opportunity to sign up in person for the
Spartan Rookies Club on Friday, August 26 when UNCG hosts a soccer
doubleheader against Wake Forest (women’s) and Duke
(men’s), beginning at 6 p.m. at UNCG Soccer Stadium
