Facilities: UNCG Tennis Courts

Constructed in the summer and fall of 2000, the UNCG Tennis Courts serve as the home facility for the Spartan men's and women's tennis teams.

The current facility was built on the site of UNCG's previous facility at a cost of $1.4 million. Situated between the UNCG Soccer Stadium and Fleming Gymnasium, the facility includes 12 lighted courts, allowing for both the Spartan men's and women's teams to play or practice simultaneously during the day and at night.

The facility includes a meeting area on the south end of the courts, 24 player benches and elevated seating for approximately 350 fans.

The facility underwent renovations in the summer of 2010. The courts have been completely resurfaced and have been changed to a more attractive blue court -- sometimes called "US Open-style" as Flushing Meadows switched to them prior to 2005. The Australian Open followed suit in 2008.

The facility will be outfitted with various Spartan marks and is having its drainage upgraded and serviced in completing the renovation.
