Jen Sansevero enters her first year as associate athletic
director for student-athlete support services at
UNCG. Sansevero began her duties in June after spending the last
four years at Mount St. Mary’s as an assistant athletic
director for NCAA compliance and the athletic department’s
senior woman administrator.
In her role there, Sansevero ensured the Mount’s
compliance with NCAA and Northeast Conference rules and regulations
related to all facets of the athletic department. She also oversaw
the university’s academic support services for
student-athletes and had sport oversight.
Sansevero was also an assistant softball coach and an adjunct
professor for the Mount. She taught courses in sport management,
business and legal studies.
Prior to her tenure at Mount St. Mary’s, Sansevero was a law
clerk for the Office of the Staff Judge Advocate at USA Medical
Research and Materiel Command in Fort Detrick, Md., from
2003-08.
Sansevero was a student-athlete at Mount St. Mary’s, serving
as a team captain and earning second-team All-NEC honors in
softball. She earned a bachelor’s degree from the Mount in
2004 and a Juris Doctor degree from Widener University School of
Law in 2008.
