Will Mack enters his first season as the volunteer assistant
coach at UNCG after a four-year playing career for the
Spartans.
Mack played in 78 career games for UNCG, scoring 13 points on the
strength of four goals and five assists. He helped the Spartans win
back-to-back Southern Conference regular season championships in
his final two years, including an NCAA Tournament appearance in
2010. He earned SoCon Academic Honor Roll honors his senior season
as a fitness leadership major.
Prior to UNCG, Mack was an All-State selection at Mooresville High
School where he was twice named team most valuable play. He was a
two-time all-conference and all-region selection as well as captain
of the North Carolina State ODP team in 2007. He played six seasons
for the NCYSA State team and spent 2004 in the USL Super Y League
with the South Atlantic Regional team.
Mack is married to his Wife Lauren, who is a 2010 UNCG
graduate.
