Saturday’s doubleheader against Furman washed out
GREENVILLE, S.C. – Due to continued rain the Greenville area, Saturday's scheduled doubleheader between UNCG and Furman has been postponed until Sunday.
In an effort to try to get in the final two games of the series, the two teams scheduled a doubleheader on Saturday beginning at 11 a.m. Rain began falling in the Greenville area around 8:45 a.m. and a decision was made to postpone the doubleheader until Sunday.
The Spartans and Paladins will now meet for a doubleheader on Sunday beginning at 1 p.m. in order to try to finish the weekend series.
