Prior to UNCG
Played one season at Indiana University before transferring to UNCG in the fall of 2011 … appeared in five games for the Hoosiers as a freshman … pitched two innings on the year and didn’t allow a run, while also striking a batter.

High School:
Earned two varsity letters playing baseball for coach Joey Bell at Athens Drive High School in Raleigh, N.C. … was named first-team all-conference and also academic all-conference as a junior and senior … earned team MVP honors as a senior after going 6-3 with a 2.51 ERA … also played two seasons of varsity football.
