At UNCG:
2011: Earned first-team All-SoCon honors as a catcher by the coaches … was named second-team All-SoCon by the media … played in 53 of the 54 games for the Spartans as a sophomore … made 50 starts on the year as a catcher, first baseman and designated hitter … finished the year third on the team with a .318 batting average … recorded a team-high eight home runs and a team-high 51 RBI … also had a team-high 18 doubles on the year and scored 36 runs … had an incredible six RBI after hitting three doubles in the win at High Point (5/10) … had three hits in seven games … had two or more RBI in 15 games as a sophomore … led the team with a .575 slugging percentage and was second on the team in on-base percentage at .437 … drew 25 walks and was hit by a pitch 18 times. 

2010: Redshirted the season

2009: Started 37 of the 42 games he saw action in as a catcher and designated hitter as a freshman ... he hit .260 for the year after recording 38 hits in 146 at-bats ... was fifth-best on the team with 30 RBI and also added 12 runs scored ... had his best game of the season in a 10-6 win at Wofford (4/9) after he hit two doubles and a home run with three RBI and two runs scored ... tied for the team lead with four home runs on the year ... also had a three-hit performance at Campbell (2/25).

Summer Ball:
Played catcher this past summer for the Alexandria Beetles in Alexandria, Minn. for coach Seth Maier.

High School:
Played for coach Harvey Rainbow at Leaside High School in Toronto, Ontario, Canada ... also played hockey, basketball and volleyball for the Lancers ... was named team MVP of the baseball, basketball and volleyball team ... led the conference in scoring for his basketball team.

Personal:
Trevor Scott Edwards...born August 24, 1989 in Palo Alto, Calif. ... son of Aled and Elizabeth Edwards ... both of his parents are Stanford graduates and now professors at the University of Toronto ... father played football at McGill University ... Has an older sister, Cristyn, and a younger brother, Stephen ... also recruited by Michigan State, Cal Poly and Richmond ... majoring in geography at UNCG.
