At UNCG:
2011: Played in 36 games and made 21 starts as a junior primarily at first base … batted .282 on the year with 10 RBI and 14 runs scored … went 3-6 with a double and three runs scored in the win at Wofford (5/21) … drew 16 walks and was hit by a pitch one time compared to 18 strikeouts … had two doubles, an RBI and two runs scored to help complete the sweep against Georgia Southern (5/1) … had a season-high two RBi against Western Carolina (3/12), at Furman (3/27) and at Davidson (4/8) … hit five doubles on the year … had a .346 slugging percentage and a .406 on-base percentage … also made two appearances on the mound against James Madison (4/17) and at Duke (4/19).

Prior to UNCG:
Played two seasons at Pasco-Hernando Community College in New Port Richey, Fla. for coach Steve Winterlink … earned first-team Suncoast Conference honors after his sophomore year … hit .413 with six home runs, 37 RBI and 29 runs scored during his sophomore season … also went 2-2 on the mound with a 5.29 ERA as a sophomore … batted .285 with 26 RBI as a freshman and went 2-1 as a pitcher.

Earned four varsity letters at Lawrence North High School in Indianapolis, Ind. for coach Richard Winzenread … played as a pitcher, first baseman and third baseman … earned all-state and all-country honors … was also named to the all-conference team … earned an invitation to the Indiana Mr. Baseball Game.
