2009: Started 37 of the 42 games he saw action in as a catcher and designated hitter as a freshman ... he hit .260 for the year after recording 38 hits in 146 at-bats ... was fifth-best on the team with 30 RBI and also added 12 runs scored ... had his best game of the season in a 10-6 win at Wofford (4/9) after he hit two doubles and a home run with three RBI and two runs scored ... tied for the team lead with four home runs on the year ... also had a three-hit performance at Campbell (2/25).
