2011: Appeared in 26 games as a freshman and made 11 starts … saw action primarily as a designated hitter and pinch hitter … had a .250 clip for the year as he went 8-32 at the plate … knocked in six runs and scored three during the season … went 2-4 against College of Charleston (5/7) … went 1-1 with a double, RBI and run scored against Appalachian State (3/20) … drew nine walks on the year.

High School:
Played all four seasons and earned three varsity letters at Myers Park High School for coach John Spencer … earned all-conference accolades as a senior … also named honorable mention All-Charlotte Observer … helped lead his team to winning the conference tournament championships as a senior … named team captain as a junior and senior … was on the honor roll all four years.
