UNCG-Davidson basketball tix on early sale during Homecoming

GREENSBORO, NC – UNC Greensboro athletics ticket manager John Comer announced Monday that a special sale of tickets for the men's basketball game against Davidson at the Greensboro Coliseum will be held this coming Saturday during Homecoming festivities.

The Spartans will face the Wildcats on February 5, 2009 at the Greensboro Coliseum. Game time is set for 7 pm. During Homecoming festivities, UNCG fans and alumni may purchase general sale tickets for the game at the discounted rate of $10 each. A limit of six tickets per individual will be placed on the Homecoming purchases. The price range for tickets for this event will run from $15 to $50.

During Homecoming, the UNCG-Davidson tickets will be sold in the Spartan Village on the Elliot University Center's front lawn from 2-6 pm. They will also be available for purchase on the UNCG Soccer Stadium concourse during halftime and the second half of the UNCG-Brown men's soccer match on Saturday night.

Student-ticket allotments will be made available at a later date.

UNCG single-game tickets for all 12 men's and 15 women's home games are slated to go on sale October 1 with the Davidson game being available for general purchase only through the Greensboro Coliseum box office, Ticketmaster.com or area Lowes Foods stores. The Greensboro Coliseum box office number for charge by phone is 852-1100.
