Student tickets going fast for UNCG-Davidson clash
GREENSBORO, NC – UNC Greensboro students are urged to pick up tickets as soon as possible for Thursday's game against Davidson at the Greensboro Coliseum as a limited number of seats are remaining in the student allotment.
With an incredible demand for seats, the original allotment of 1,500 tickets was exhausted and increased. UNCG and Greensboro Coliseum officials have already extended the allotment twice so that more than 2,250 tickets have been issued for free to UNCG students.
At the opening of business on Friday, approximately 250 tickets
remained in the student-ticket pool. They are being distributed at
the UNCG Athletics Ticket Office outside of Fleming Gym. Once those
tickets are distributed, the student allotment will be
complete.
Unused tickets will be returned to the general public pool for sale
on Tuesday at 12 noon.
After Tuesday's 12 noon deadline, UNCG students can still get discount tickets to the game by showing their student IDs at the Coliseum Box Office and purchasing $10 tickets.
General public tickets, including Family Four-packs, are available through the Coliseum Box Office, charge by phone by calling 1-800-745-3000, at area Lowes Food Stores or online at Ticketmaster.com.
Spartanfest opens at 5 pm in the Coliseum Pavilion and features games, rides and family fun before the tip-off at 7 pm.
