UNCG adds two TV dates for men's basketball with MASN and ESPNU
GREENSBORO, NC – UNC Greensboro fans will be able to see two more men's basketball games on television this season as the university announced Thursday that a pair of road games have been picked up for broadcast.
UNCG's game at East Carolina on Saturday, Dec. 13 will be aired by MASN (Mid-Atlantic Sports Network). The broadcast will be delayed until 9 pm. MASN, while not available on Time-Warner systems in the Triad, is available nationally through DirecTV and Dish Network. In addition, Charter Cable carries MASN in Roanoke Rapids and Gates County, while Mediacom carries it in Edenton and MI Connections carries MASN in Mooresville.
In addition, the UNCG-Princeton game for Saturday, Jan. 3 has been picked up by ESPNU. That game was moved to 12 noon last month in an effort to accommodate the network. ESPNU is available in both regular format and HD throughout a good portion on the state. Because ESPNU has picked up the game for broadcast, however, the video Webcast will not be available through Spartan All Access.
The Spartans will also play two games on SportSouth this season. The first game will be on Dec. 6 when UNCG hosts College of Charleston at 3 pm, the second game of the women and men's doubleheader. UNCG will also be on SportSouth February 28 at 2 pm when the Spartans host Elon.
