Ticketing plan unveiled for UNCG-Samford game at Fleming

GREENSBORO, N.C. - Plans are set for the ticketing process for the Jan. 23 men's basketball game between UNC Greensboro and Samford, which will be played back on the UNCG campus at Fleming Gym.

Season ticket holders were notified of the process earlier this week in a letter that was mailed. The game was moved from the Greensboro Coliseum to Fleming Gym because of a concert at the Coliseum that night.

All seats for the game will be general admission with the exception of the on-court seating. On-court seats will remain a reserved seat and are being configured to match seating at the Coliseum. All other ticket holders are encouraged to arrive early because of the general admission seating process.

University officials have also made plans for spectator overflow, if necessary, by providing closed-circuit television in the practice gymnasium located in the HHP Building. The game is part of a doubleheader and is set to tip at 4 p.m. UNCG's women's team will face College of Charleston at 1 p.m. that day.

Fans should park in the Walker Ave. parking deck, where parking will be free. Should the Walker Deck become filled, fans will be directed to the Oakland Ave. parking deck and a free shuttle will be provided to and from Fleming Gym.

Fans with questions or in need of more information can contact the athletics ticket office at 334-3250 or check UNCGSpartans.com for updates.
