Men's basketball single-game tickets on sale Friday at 10 a.m.

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Single-game men's basketball tickets for UNCG's 2010-11 season will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through the Greensboro Coliseum box offices and through Ticketmaster's outlets, charge-by-phone and Ticketmaster's website.

The Spartans' home opener – one of 15 home dates for the Spartans in the 2010-11 season – is slated for Sunday, Nov. 14, against Florida State at 3:30 p.m. The highlight of the slate is a visit by the defending national-champion Duke Blue Devils on Wednesday, Dec. 29. The teams last met at the Greensboro Coliseum in December 2005 and played in front of more than 21,000 fans - the largest crowd to ever see a UNCG athletics event.

Single-game tickets will start at $10 in the upper level for most games. Lower bowl, floor level and premium courtside seating prices will vary upon location of the seat and the opponent. UNCG's athletics website – www.uncgspartans.com – has complete details. The Spartan Spot end zone patio area will also have seating for select games at $5 per ticket. For more information about the Spartan Spot, contact the UNCG athletics ticket office 336-334-3250.

The 2010-11 slate includes the aforementioned match-ups with Florida State and defending national champion Duke along with Virginia Tech, Miami, North Carolina A&T, Richmond and nine Southern Conference opponents.

The Greensboro Coliseum box office is open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Tickets may also be purchased online at www.ticketmaster.com, by calling Ticketmaster's charge-by-phone at 1-800-745-3000, or via other Ticketmaster outlets. Applicable service charges may apply.
