Men's Basketball Exhibition Game Ticket Information Released

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNCG athletics department announced ticket information regarding the men's basketball exhibition game versus Bluefield State Saturday, November 3 at 6 p.m. in Fleming Gym on the campus of UNCG. Admission is free for all fans, however due to the limited capacity of Fleming Gym, a ticket will be required for entry. All seating for the game is general admission and gates open at 5 p.m.

UNCG students wishing to guarantee themselves a ticket for the exhibition game can do so during an early ticket distribution period being held Tuesday, October 30 and Wednesday, October 31. Students must visit the athletics ticket office located on the third floor of the HHP Building with a valid UNCG I.D. between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on either date. A limited number of student tickets will be distributed during the early ticket distribution period. Each student is only allowed to pick up one ticket per person per I.D.

Beginning at 4 p.m. Saturday, November 3, all remaining tickets will be available for pick-up at the athletics ticket office on a first come, first serve basis for all fans and students. Capacity in Fleming Gym is approximately 1,800, so fans are encouraged to arrive early to pick-up a ticket while supplies last.

The basketball game is just one of many events being scheduled as part of the annual week long Homecoming celebration at UNCG beginning Monday, October 29. For a full list of events, visit www.homecoming.uncg.edu.

Individual game tickets have varied pricing depending on the opponent. Tickets range from $10-25 for lower level and riser seating. The 2012-13 home opener Nov. 12 against Winston-Salem State is the Spartans push for 7K on 11.12.12, trying to set an attendance record for the home opener.  The first 2,000 fans will receive a free UNCG Basketball t-shirt.
