Men's Basketball Launches #GETMAD4UNCG Promotion

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNCG athletics department has launched its #GETMAD4UNCG promotion in conjunction with the next three men's basketball home games, starting Wednesday, Jan. 9 versus Lees-McRae and continuing through the Furman game on Jan. 20.

As the Spartans head into a key stretch of five home conference games, we will create opportunities for fans to GET MAD for the Spartans with campus promotional blitzes, photo booths and social media contests.

Photo Booths will be set up before the Lees-McRae, Wofford and Furman home men's basketball games. They will include mascot, spirit teams, UNCG props (foam helmets, poms, big heads, shields etc.). Photos will be uploaded to the UNCG Spartan Athletics Facebook Page for fans to tag themselves.

Fans can also tweet their photos using the hashtag above. Winners from those submitted will be entered into a drawing to win a replica jersey and an opportunity to sit in the Time Warner VIP Seats for the Furman game.
