Heisey's second-round 70 give him the lead after two rounds at Pfeiffer Invitational

NEW LONDON, N.C. – UNC Greensboro's Ryan Heisey has the lead after two rounds at the Johnny Palmer/Old North State Invitational hosted by Pfieffer University.

With a line-up consisting of its reserves, Heisey led UNCG with a two-round total of 142 on Monday, firing a 72 in the opening round and a 70 in the second round. Freshman David Heyen fired a 75 in the morning and followed with a 72 in the afternoon.

The third and final round takes place on Tuesday.
