Stamey jumps up to third with 71 in final round at Memphis Intercollegiate
MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Nathan Stamey was one of just six players to shoot under par in Tuesday’s final round at the prestigious Colonial CC, carding a one-under 71 to tie for third in the individual standings at the Memphis Intercollegiate.
UNCG finished 11th in the team standings, shooting a final round 302. Louisville, which began the day with a 13-shot advantage, coasted to the team title by 11 shots over TCU. The Cardinals finished at 857 and had all five players log Top 20 individual finishes.
Stamey, a junior from Pisgah, NC, fired rounds of 71 and 73 on Monday.
