UNCG's Hoadley one shot back, Spartans fifth after two rounds at Georgetown
BEALSVILLE, MD – UNCG sophomore Robert Hoadley carded rounds of 71 and 67 on Monday to sit at four-under par after two rounds at the 26th Annual Georgetown Intercollegiate, being held at The Members Club at Four Streams.
Hoadley is tied for fourth, one shot behind a trio of golfers who sit atop the leader board. Vaita Guillaume of Campbell, Zach MacDougall from Eastern Michigan and Miami-Ohio's Austin Kelly all sit at five-under par 137 after 36 holes. A total of 17 golfers are within four shots of the lead, which should make for a wild final round on Tuesday.
UNCG is fifth in the team standings, 10 shots off the lead. Campbell leads the team scoring at 559. Miami-Ohio is second at 565, followed by Maryland and Eastern Michigan tied for third. The Spartans won the tournament last season, rallying from 11 shots back on the final day to pass Washington State for the win.
Tuesday's final round gets underway at approximately 8 a.m.
