Spartans close out at Georgetown with sixth place finish
BEALSVILLE, MD – Robert Hoadley finished tied for 10th to lead the way as UNCG finished tied for the sixth at the 26th annual Georgetown Intercollegiate.
Hoadley carded a final round 76 as UNCG finished with a round of 300. Justin Clement shot a final round 73 to record a Top 20 finish, placing 18th. Miami-Ohio's Austin Kelly carded a final round 68 to break away from a pack and claim the individual title. He was four shots better than Campbell's Matt Moot and Maryland's John Popeck.
Campbell claimed the team honors, finishing at 847. The Camels were 10 shots better than Miami-Ohio.
UNCG returns to action this weekend when it hosts the prestigious UNCG Bridgestone Golf Collegiate at Forest Oaks Country Club.
