GREENSBORO, N.C. – UNCG men's golf continues its spring season at the 2012 Snowman Getaway hosted by Washington State, Feb. 27-28 at Palm Valley Golf Club in Goodyear, Ariz.
The Spartans opened play at last week's Puerto Rico Classic, finishing 12th in a 15-team field which included eight of the top 40-ranked teams. Sophomore Andy Knox led UNCG by finishing tied for 46th after shooting 225 (70-78-77).

Individuals from Arizona State, UCLA and Western Texas College will also compete.
Tournament Notes: UNCG, ranked 90th in the latest Golfstat.com NCAA head-to-head rankings, is the top-ranked team in the field … this is UNCG's first appearance in the Snowman Getaway … the Palm Valley Golf Club consists of two courses – The Palms Course, designed by Arthur Hills; and The lakes Course, designed by Hale Irwin.
