Men’s golf heads to Pinehurst
GREENSBORO, N.C. – UNCG men's golf continues its spring season this weekend at the Pinehurst Intercollegiate, Saturday and Sunday at Pinehurst No. 6. The 54-hole tournament features 12 teams from around the country and includes four Top 100 programs.
This is the third tournament of the spring for the Spartans, and their first event in two weeks. UNCG finished third at the Washington State Snowman Getaway in Goodyear, Ariz., in their last outing in late February.

Tournament Notes: Pinehurst No. 6 opened in 1979 and was renovated in 2005 … the course was designed by George and Tom Fazio … UNCG, ranked 92nd in the latest Golfstat.com rankings, is one of four Top 100 teams in the field along with Virginia tech (52), Ball State (66) and defending champion UNCW (82).
