Spartans hold onto men's soccer national ranking

GREENSBORO, NC – Going 1-1 in two matches last week, UNC Greensboro held onto its spot in three of the four national men’s soccer polls this week.

UNCG is ranked No. 21 in College Soccer News, No. 22 in Soccer America and tied for No. 25 in Soccer Times. The Spartans, 13-5-0, are not ranked in the NSCAA Top 25 for the second consecutive week.

The Spartans will face Elon in the Southern Conference Tournament’s semifinal round Friday night at Charleston, SC’s Blackbaud Stadium. The game gets underway at approximately 7 pm. Davidson and Furman play in the first semifinal beginning at 4:30 pm.
