Seyrek falls as UNCG ends stay at ITA All-American Championships
TULSA, Okla. – UNCG senior Orcun Seyrek dropped his lone singles match in the qualifying round at the ITA All-American Championships at the University of Tulsa on Monday.
Seyrek fell 6-4, 6-0 to Denver's Yannick Weihs in the first round of qualifying, ending the Spartans' stay at the tournament.
UNCG's Ahmet Sarioglu and Chanon Varapongsittikul lost in pre-qualifying on Saturday, with Sarioglu falling in the first round and Varapongsittikul dropping his second-round match.
The Spartans are back in action at the Elon Invitational in Elon, N.C., this Friday through Sunday.
