Wyatt wraps up competition at UNC Elite

CHAPEL HILL, NC – TJ Wyatt finished in 12th place in the 800 meters at the UNC Elite on Friday evening in Chapel Hill as the lone competitor for UNC Greensboro.

Wyatt, who was looking to reach a qualifying mark for the NCAA Regionals, ran a time of 1:53.51 in the 800 meters. His time was just a few seconds from qualifying for the NCAA Regionals and was the second-fastest time on the team this season in that event.

The Spartans return to action next weekend at the Georgia Tech Invitational on Friday and Saturday.
