UNCG formally adds men's and women's indoor track as sports
GREENSBORO, N.C. UNC Greensboro Interim Director of Athletics Rod Wyatt announced Friday that mens and womens indoor track and field have formally been established as the 17th and 18th sports the university sponsors beginning with the 2009-10 academic year.

Twenty-six UNCG student-athletes take Academic All-SoCon honors
SPARTANBURG, S.C. Twenty-six UNC Greensboro student-athletes earned spots on the Spring Academic All-Southern Conference Team, the league office announced recently. The team included 320 student-athletes from all 12 member schools, representing the sports of mens and womens golf, mens and womens tennis, mens and womens outdoor track and field, baseball and softball.
