2011-12 XC: Recorded a 28th place finish to start the 2011 season at the Elon Invitational, completing the 8,000 meter course in 27:02 (Sept 17) … finished 12th overall at the Hagan Stone XC Classic in a time of 27:31 (Oct 1) … ran a personal best time of 26:17 en route to a 54th place overall finish at the Southern Conference Championships (Oct 29) … earned Academic All-Conference honors. Indoor: Began with a season best performance in the 3,000m at the Dick Taylor Invite crossing the line in a time of 9:02.11 to finish eighth overall (Jan 13) … ran a season best time of 4:27.69 in the mile run at the Fast Track Invite (Feb 11) … In his only attempt at the 5,000m, ran a personal best time of 16:09.88 at the Hokie Invitational (Jan 21) … SoCon Academic All-Conference. 2010-11: XC: Set a new personal-best in the 8k at the Royal Cross Country Challenge after running a 26:43.5 … had previously set a new personal-best earlier in the year at the Elon Invitational after running at 27:22 … finished in 14th place at the Greensboro XC Invitational after running a 28:03.2 … ran a 29:05.70 at the Southern Conference Championship. Indoor: Finished in 17th place at the Niswonger Invitational in the mile after running at 4:30.52, which was less than a second off his personal-best … ran a 9:11.28 in the 3,000 meters to set a new personal-best in his only attempt in the event all season.
