POSTCARD #3 - Kristen Boone (May 20, 2007)

Ciao!,

Sorry we have not written for so long, but we have been staying in places where Internet is not available.

So far we have been kept extremely busy. We  have played three games and have won all of them! The first one was the toughest. I think that was due to jet-lag and the time change. However, we were able to get ourselves together and pull out a win. The last game was against the Division A National Champions in the Italian League and we won by 32 points, so that was a pretty big victory.

The weather here is great. Everyday has been sunny and a consistent breeze. My favorite city as of now has been Lake Como because the we spent the most time there and I got a chance to view its beauty in entirety. We have also visited Milan, Venice, San Marino, and Florence (all in 8 days...talk about tired). We are concluding our trip in Rome where we get to see the Vatican and lots of Roman historical artifacts. We are also going to cheer on the men's team in their last game. Talk to you soon.
