UNCG 12th after two rounds at Landfall Tradition

WILMINGTON, N.C. - Sofia Aidemark is in a tie for 34th place after two rounds to lead UNC Greensboro at the Landfall Tradition hosted by UNC Wilmington.

Aidemark, a junior from Laholm, Sweden, carded a round of 83 on Saturday for a two-round total of 160. Freshman Lauren Smith had the best round of the day for UNCG, shooting an 82.

As a team, UNCG shot 332 for the second straight day to sit in 12th place. Wake Forest has a commanding lead in the team standings - a 23-shot margin over second-place North Carolina.

Wake Forest has the three of the top four in the individual standings as Cheyenne Woods has a one-shot lead over teammate Natalie Sheary. Woods, with a two-round total of 146, shot a 71 on Saturday to take over the lead from Sheary. East Carolina's Amber Littman and Wake Forest's Dolores White.

The final round will begin at 9 am with a shotgun start.
