Was a three-time Greater Neuse River 4-A Conference Player of the Year and a four-time all-conference and all-region selection for Clayton High School … finished in the top five at the North Carolina 4A state high school championship three times … turned in runner-up finishes at the 4A Eastern Regional in 2008 and 2009 … was also an all-conference swimmer for the Comets.
