Spartans host UNCG Starmount Fall Classic beginning Sunday

SHOTGUN STARTING SLOTS FOR SUNDAY

GREENSBORO, N.C. - UNCG will host the UNCG Starmount Fall Classic women's golf tournament at Bryan Park beginning Sunday.

The tournament, normally played at Starmount Forest Country Club near downtown Greensboro, has been moved north of town to Bryan Park's Players Course due to grounds issues at Starmount related to the recent drought in the area.

The Spartans will entertain ETSU, Maryland, Western Carolina, UNC Wilmington, Stetson, Furman, East Carolina, NC State, Penn State, Mississippi State, Miami, High Point, Gardner-Webb and Winthrop.

All three rounds will be played with a shotgun start. Sunday's action gets underway at 8:30 a.m. Monday's second round will start at 12 noon, followed by Tuesday's final round at 8:30 a.m.

Livescoring will be available all three days.
