2009-10: Redshirted the season … went 8-6 as an unattached wrestler … earned All-American honors at the 2010 FILA Junior Nationals with his fifth place finish in the 63 kg freestyle bracket … also earned All-American honors at the 2010 University Nationals after coming in eighth place in the 60 kg Greco-Roman bracket … started the year 3-2 after the Virginia Tech Open, where he scored a pin over Chris Woltz from North Carolina and a major decision … went 4-2 at the UNC Pembroke Open, including a second period pin over Casey Gashaw from St. Andrews … also wrestled at the NC State Open where he pinned Chattanooga’s Logan Biddy.
