UNCG women’s soccer maintains spot in both regional polls

GREENSBORO, NC – Despite not participating in any action last week, the UNC Greensboro women’s soccer team still maintains its spot in both major regional ranking polls.  The Spartans check in this week ranked eighth in the NSCAA Southeast Regional poll and are ranked ninth in the Soccer Buzz Southeast Regional poll.

UNCG’s (7-4-0, 3-1-0 SoCon) scheduled game at Wofford last Friday was postponed due to over five inches of rain in and around Spartanburg, SC.  The game has been rescheduled for Oct. 25th at Snyder Field on the Wofford campus.

The Spartans return to the field Friday afternoon when UNCG travels to Chattanooga to take on the Lady Mocs in a 3 pm meeting.  UNCG has won four of its last five games and currently stands in third place in the SoCon standings, trailing only Davidson and Furman.
