UNCG drops 6-1 decision at UC Riverside in women's tennis action

RIVERSIDE, CA – UNC Greensboro won two of three doubles matches, but could not hold on in singles play as the Spartans dropped a 6-1 decision at Cal-Riverside in women’s tennis action Saturday afternoon.

UNCG got doubles wins from the duos of Lourdes Moran and Sophie Rychlik and Erica Zabkar and Whitney Miles. However, UC Riverside swept all six singles matches in straight-sets to earn the win.

UNCG continues its three match California swing on Tuesday when it takes on Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo.
