Two three-set wins lift UNCG past Cal State Fullerton, 4-3, in women's tennis action

FULLERTON, CA – UNC Greensboro swept all three doubles matches and got singles wins from Lisa Suggs, Erica Zabkar and Lourdes Moran to squeek out a 4-3 win over Cal State Fullerton on Thursday night to wrap up the Spartans three-match California swing.

Suggs defeated Ruya Inalpulat in three sets, 6-3, 3-6, 7-5. In addition, Moran pulled out a three-set win, defeating Ashley Dunbar, 6-3, 5-7, 6-2. Zabkar earned a straight-set win over Shaghig-Shelly Injejikian, 6-1, 6-2. Each was also part of a winning double tandem as the Spartans finished 1-2 on their California trip.

The Spartans return home to take on SoCon rival Furman on Sunday beginning at 11 am.
