UNCG falls to Furman, 6-1, in women's tennis action

GREENSBORO, NC – Emily Wade earned a straight-set win over Marti Morris, but it was the lone point of the day for UNCG as the Spartans dropped a 6-1 decision to Furman in Southern Conference women’s tennis action Sunday afternoon.

Wade defeated Morris by identical 6-4 scores to earn UNCG’s lone victory of the afternoon.

The Spartans return to action on Tuesday when they host Elon in another Southern Conference match-up.
