Spartans falls at ETSU, 7-0, in non-conference women's tennis match
JOHNSON CITY, TN – East Tennessee State won all six singles matches in straight sets and also won two of the three doubles pro-sets on its way to a 7-0 win over UNC Greensboro in non-conference women’s tennis action on Saturday afternoon.
UNCG’s only win of the day came at No. 3 doubles. Erica Zabkar and Sarah Templeton won by injury default when the duo of Sandie Knight and Elena Volobueva retired while leading 4-1.
UNCG returns to action on Sunday when it takes on Appalachian State in the Spartans’ regular season finale.
