UNCG cruises to 7-0 win over UNC Asheville
ASHEVILLE, NC – UNC Greensboro swept all six singles in straight sets as the Spartans picked up their third win of the season with a 7-0 triumph over UNC Asheville in women’s tennis action Saturday evening.
The Spartans swept through all six singles matches and won all three doubles pro-sets to move to 3-1 on the spring season. Arielle VonStrolley, Erica Zabkar, Whitney Miles, Courtney Akel, Valerie Behr and Jess Eblen all earned easy straight-set wins in singles action.
The Spartans return to action Sunday morning when they face Minnesota in Chapel Hill, NC beginning at 9:30 am.
