UNCG falls to East Tennessee State, 7-0

GREENSBORO, NC – East Tennessee State won five of six singles matches in straight sets on its way to a 7-0 win over UNC Greensboro in women’s tennis action Sunday afternoon.

The Spartans (7-7) only won one set on the afternoon. That came at No. 6 singles where Jess Eblen won the opening set over Whitney Trotter, 6-4, but then lost the second set, 6-2, and lost the 10-point tiebreaker, 10-2.

UNCG will look to bounce back when it returns to conference play on Wednesday at Elon. The match is slated for 3 pm.
