Zabkar second, VonStrolley third at UNC Wilmington Invitational

WILMINGTON, NC – Erica Zabkar finished second and Arielle VonStrolley finished third in singles flight “A” to highlight UNCG’s final day of action at the UNC Wilmington Women’s Tennis Invitational on Sunday.

Zabkar lost to Charlotte’s Ana Spivakovsky in the final, 6-1 and 6-2, to place second in the top flight. VonStrolley rallied to beat Ali Piacente, 2-6, 6-3, 1-0 (16-14) to finish in third place.

UNCG will travel to Alabama for the Roberta Alison Fall Classic in Tuscaloosa next weekend.
