Spartans wrap up action at UVA Fall Invitational
CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA – UNC Greensboro wrapped up action at the UVA Fall Invitational Women’s Tennis Tournament on Sunday afternoon.
UNCG’s Alejandra Guerra defeated Amanda Rales of Virginia in singles action, 7-5 and 6-3. Arielle VonStrolley lost to Virginia’s Jenny Stevens, 6-4 and 6-3. In addition, UNCG’s Erica Zabkar retired down 3-1 in the first set to Virginia’s Lara Alexander.
In doubles action, VonStrolley and Zabkar lost to the Virginia duo of Stevens and Alexander, 8-4.
The Spartans will return to action next weekend at the Roberta Allison Invitational in Tuscaloosa, AL.
