GREENSBORO, N.C. - No. 57-ranked Marshall swept all six singles matches and two of the three doubles match on its way to a 7-0 win over UNC Greensboro in women's tennis action Saturday afternoon.
UNCG's lone victory of the day came in doubles action when Alex Whitehead and Mikayla Rogers topped Kristina Koppricina and Thaddea Lock, 8-6, at the third slot.
Annette Rios had her eight-match winning streak snapped when she dropped a 6-2, 6-3 decision to Deanna Bailey at No. 5 singles. Rios, a freshman, finished the season at 23-8, including a 16-5 mark in the spring slate.
UNCG finished the season at 10-11 overall.
