Spartans close out successful weekend at Davidson Invite

DAVIDSON, N.C. - UNC Greensboro won 13 of 17 singles matches and seven out of nine doubles matches this weekend in play at the Davidson College Fall Invitational women's tennis tournament.

Lucy Dougherty was a perfect 3-0 in singles play and went 3-0 in doubles play, teaming up with Valerie Behr. Behr was 2-1 and Mikayla Rogers was 2-0 in singles play as the Spartans faced conference rivals Davidson and Elon along with in-state rival Charlotte.

UNCG continues its fall schedule next weekend at the ITA Carolinas Regional in Winston-Salem, N.C. and hosted by Wake Forest.
