UNCG-Georgia Southern match suspended by weather
STATESBORO, Ga. - The women's tennis match between UNC Greensboro and Georgia Southern was suspended by weather on Friday with the score tied, 3-3.
The start of the match was moved up to 11:45 a.m. to try to beat the weather and the teams agreed to play the singles matches first in an effort to decide a victor in case of inclement weather. However, after the team split the singles matches, 3-3, rain moved in halting play for the day.
With UNCG slated to play at College of Charleston on Saturday and Georgia Southern hosting Wofford, the teams decided to resume play on Sunday at 9 a.m.
