UNCG heads to Chapel Hill for ITA Carolinas Regional beginning Thursday

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The UNCG women's tennis team will begin competing at the ITA Carolinas Regional when singles play begins on Thursday.

 

The qualifying bracket will get things underway on Thursday morning, followed by the beginning of doubles play on Thursday afternoon. Matches will be played on the North Carolina campus.

 

The Spartans have had a strong fall thus far, including a 16-4 mark last weekend hosting the Spartan Doubles Challenge. UNCG is 30-26 in singles play and 16-10 in doubles play thus far this fall season.

 

Niltooli Wilkins has had a great debut with UNCG after transferring from Minnesota. She is 8-2 in singles play thus far this year. She will play doubles alongside Mikayla Rogers, who she is 2-1 with this season. Annette Rios has also been good through the fall slate, going 7-4 in singles play.

 

The tournament continues through Sunday.
