UNCG women's tennis announces fall schedule
GREENSBORO, N.C. – UNCG's women's tennis team will take part in seven fall tournaments, coach Jeff Trivette announced Tuesday.
The Spartans, who went 15-7 overall and finished second in the Southern Conference with a 9-1 league record last season, open the fall campaign at the Davidson Fall Invitational on Sept. 9-10. The following weekend will see UNCG take the courts at the UVa Fall Invitational in Charlottesville, Va.
After competing at the Wake Forest Invitational in Winston-Salem, N.C., from Sept. 30 to Oct. 2, the Spartans will take part in the ITA All-American Championships in Pacific Palisades, Calif., from Oct. 2-9.
UNCG will host the Spartan Doubles Challenge at the UNCG Tennis Courts on Oct. 14-15 before heading up to Chapel Hill, N.C., for the ITA Regionals on Oct. 20-24.
The Spartans will close the fall portion of their schedule at the Kitty Harrison Invitational, also in Chapel Hill, from Nov. 4-6.
