DAVIDSON, N.C. – UNCG's women's tennis team won four of the eight singles titles and three of the four doubles titles at the Davidson Fall Invitational on Friday at Saturday.

In addition to the Spartans, East Carolina, Campbell and Davidson competed in the tournament.

In singles action, Niltooli Wilkins, Alex Whitehead, Stephanie Falcon and Kayla Gammie won singles titles for UNCG.

Wilkins went 3-0 on the weekend to take Flight 1. She picked up a 6-2, 6-1 win over Davidson's Stephani Synn, a 6-2, 6-3 win over East Carolina's Danielle Terpko and a 7-5, 6-2 win over Campbell Karolina Chernaya.

Whitehead duplicated the feat at No. 2, also going 3-0 over the two-day tournament. She beat Davidson's Nisha Crouser 6-3, 6-7, (10-6) and topped East Carolina's Neena Wanko 6-7, 7-6, (10-6). She downed Campbell's Kateryna Yegoreychenko by a 6-4, 6-1 score.

Falcon went 3-0 at the No. 7 flight, dropping Davidson's Blake Nickles 6-1, 6-0, East Carolina's Abby Richmond 6-2, 6-1 and Davidson's Frizzi Bschorer 6-1, 6-4.

Gammie went 2-0 to win No. 8, picking up victories over East Carolina's Abby Richmond (6-2, 6-3) and Vanessa Fulaihan (6-3, 6-2).

Lucy Dougherty (No. 3), Dilara Yurtkuran (No. 4), Annette Rios (No. 5) and Devon Sutherland (No. 6) each went 2-1 on the weekend.

Wilkins and Dougherty teamed up to go 3-0 and win the No. 1 doubles flight, while Whitehead and Yurtkuran were 3-0 to win No. 2. Gammie and Sutherland were 2-0 together at No. 4 to win that flight.

Rios and Falcon were 2-1 at No. 3.

UNCG returns to action at the UVa Fall Invitational in Charlottesville, Va., on Friday.
