CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Sophomore Devon Sutherland picked up UNCG's lone singles win Sunday, the final day of the UVa Fall Invitational, while the Spartans' two doubles teams at the tournament lost in their respective flight finals.

Sutherland took third in the consolation of the C Singles bracket, knocking off Old Dominion's Nika Khmolovska, 6-1, 6-4.

Niltooli Wilkins fell in the consolation final of the A Singles flight, as No. 125 Marlen Mesgarzadeh of William & Mary grabbed a 6-2, 6-3 win.

William & Mary's Nina Vulovich topped UNCG's Lucy Dougherty in the B Singles flight, 6-3, 6-1.

In doubles play, Wilkins and Dougherty fell 8-4 to No. 7 Kathryn Talbert and Kayla Duncan of Wake Forest in the A Doubles final. Wilkins and Dougherty topped the ninth-ranked doubles team in Friday's first round.

Sutherland and freshman Stephanie Falcon fell in the finals of the B Doubles flight, dropping a hard-fought 9-7 contest to Virginia's Caryssa Peretz and Molly O'Koniewski.

UNCG returns to action at the Wake Forest Invitational on Sept. 30 through Oct. 2.
